Getting paid shouldn't be a second job.

Log & Pay is a managed credit-control service for small UK trade businesses. You send us the job through your dashboard. We turn it into an invoice, send it, and chase it until it's paid.

What we do

1. You send us the job through your dashboard. A few lines is enough: who it was for, what you did, what you're charging.
2. We prepare the invoice and check it. We read your job details, draft the invoice, and check it over before anything goes out.
3. We send it and chase it. If it isn't paid on time, we follow up politely and keep going. Every reminder is reviewed by a real person before it is sent.

Why a real person?

Automatic reminders can read as cold, or get the tone wrong with a customer you want to keep. Every message goes out with a person behind it, so it sounds like you: firm when it needs to be, friendly when it doesn't.

It's still your business

• Invoices go out in your business name, with your logo and your payment details.
• You can see every invoice and every chase-up in your own login, whenever you like.
• You can download your invoices as a spreadsheet, or as a pack for your accountant.

Why I built it

I was attending callouts myself, then spending hours on my own invoicing and chasing clients. None of it was structured, and I struggled to keep a record of every chase.

I didn't want a typical all-in-one app. The ones I looked at were good at everything but masters of nothing. Some had to be linked to my accounts. Others were job apps that turned jobs into invoices, and the invoices never came out quite how I wanted. I just wanted invoicing and chasing done properly, with a clear record of every step.

So I built it. It has helped me personally, and now I'm offering it to other small trade businesses. Log & Pay is a small operation run from the UK, so when you get in touch you deal with the person actually doing the work.

Who it's for

Sole traders and small trade businesses, from one-person outfits up to teams of a few engineers, who are good at the job and would rather not spend evenings on invoices and awkward phone calls. Larger teams are welcome too; just tell us what you need.
